Bachmann Says She Will Cut Entitlement Programs

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann told Bloomberg's Al Hunt on August 12 that she's not afraid to make cuts to the popular programs. Bachmann also said she would not have bailed out Citigroup Inc. and General Motors Co.

On October 11th at 7 pm ET, Bloomberg Television and The Washington Post, in partnership with WBIN-TV and host Dartmouth College, will present the first debate of the 2012 campaign focused exclusively on the issues voters consider most important - the economy, debt, deficits, taxes, trade and jobs. Charlie Rose is the moderator. He'll be joined by Washington Post political correspondent Karen Tumulty and Bloomberg White House correspondent Julianna Goldman. (Source: Bloomberg)
