Rubber producers: Rubber futures for March delivery fell as much as 1.8 percent to 305.3 yen a kilogram ($3,964 a metric ton) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Sri Trang Agro-Industry Pcl (STA) , Thailand’s biggest publicly traded rubber producer, dropped 3.6 percent to 16 baht. Thai Rubber Latex Corp. (Thailand) Pcl (TRUBB TB) declined 2 percent to 3 baht.
Advanced Info Service Pcl (ADVANC) : Thailand’s six-year struggle to sell licenses for third-generation wireless services may be derailed by politics, Wichian Mektrakarn, Advanced Info’s chief executive officer, said in an interview. The company is reluctant to invest more until the government auctions licenses and sets rules for operating the service, Wichian said. Advanced Info gained 1.6 percent to 128 baht.
Siam Future Development Pcl (SF) : The Thai developer of shopping malls expects revenue to exceed 3 billion baht ($96 million) in 2012 on higher rentals from new stores, Kao Hoon reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Vichate Tantiwanich. The company plans to spend about 3 billion baht per year between 2011 and 2013 to build new stores, the Thai-language newspaper said. The stock dropped 1.7 percent to 5.75 baht.
