New Standard Executes Binding Farm-In Pact With ConocoPhillips

New Standard Energy Ltd. (NSE) has executed a binding farm-out agreement with global energy company ConocoPhillips (COP) to explore and evaluate the shale gas potential of the Goldwyer project in the Canning Basin, Western Australia. ConocoPhillips will spend up to $109.5 million to earn and retain the rights to a 75 percent working interest in the Goldwyer project, New Standard said in a regulatory filing.
