Google Buys 44,500 Square Meter Site in Dublin for Data Center

Google Inc. (GOOG) purchased an 11 acre (44,500 square meters) site in Dublin to build a new data center, Ireland’s Industrial Development Authority said in a statement today.
Google is investing 75 million euros to build the data center, which will employ about 30 people on completion, John Herlihy, head of Google in Ireland said at a press conference in Dublin today. Herlihy declined to identify the seller of the property.
