CNO Financial Repurchases $40 Million of Stock in Third Quarter

CNO Financial Group Inc. (CNO), the insurer that counts John Paulson’s hedge fund as its second- largest shareholder, repurchased $39.5 million of stock in the third quarter.

The company bought back 6.57 million shares at an average price of $6.01 a share, Carmel, Indiana-based CNO said today in a statement distributed by PR Newswire.
