IShares Gold Trust Holdings Decrease 36,099 Ounces

Gold holdings in the IShares Gold Trust (IAU) decreased 36,099 ounces to 5,273,509 ounces as of Sept. 27, according to figures on the company’s website.
Gold futures for December delivery rose $8.90, or 0.5 percent, to $1,661.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
