MediciNova to Sell Common Shares, Preferred Shares to Kissei

MediciNova Inc. (MNOV) plans to sell to Kissei Pharmaceutical Co. 800,000 common shares for $2 million and 220,000 preferred shares for $5.5 million.
The share sale was disclosed in filings today with Japan’s finance ministry.
