Levene’s NBNK Investors Back Buying Lloyds Branches, Times Says
The ten biggest investors in NBNK Investments Plc (NBNK), founded by Lloyd’s of London Chairman Peter Levene, back a 2.5 billion pound ($3.9 billion) bid for 632 branches of Lloyds Banking Group Plc (LLOY), the Sunday Times reported, without saying where it got the information.
NBNK has received letters from investors supporting the deal, the newspaper said. Invesco Asset Management, Aviva Investors and JP Morgan Asset Management are among the fund’s investors, the Times said.
