Bonomi Seeks Management Role in Popolare Milano, Sole Reports

Andrea Bonomi, chairman of European buyout firm Investindustrial SpA, wants a management role if he invests in Banca Popolare di Milano Scarl (PMI), Il Sole 24 Ore reported, without saying where it got the information.

Bonomi is scheduled to meet Italian unions in coming days to present a plan for the bank, according to the newspaper. Bonomi would be an alternative to Banca Profilo SpA Chairman Matteo Arpe, who is willing to invest 200 million euros ($269 million), Il Sole reported.
