Six People Killed in House Fire in London, Authorities Say

Six people, including five children, have died in a house fire in north west London today.

Two other people who escaped before firefighters arrived were injured and have been taken to hospital, London Fire Brigade said in an e-mailed statement.

All those killed and injured are believed to be members of the same family, the Metropolitan Police said.

“Police have launched an investigation following a fire in Neasden,” the Met said in an e-mailed statement.

The police said the victims were a 41-year-old woman, three girls aged 14, 13 and nine and two boys aged five and two.
