Blackstone to Sell Funds to Aberdeen, Business Standard Says

Blackstone Group LP (BX), the world’s biggest private-equity firm, plans to sell the India Fund Inc. (IFN) and Asia Tiger Fund Inc. to Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Ltd., the Business Standard Newspaper said.

Punita Kumar Sinha, New-York based chief investment officer at Blackstone Asia Advisors LLC., who managed both the funds, will leave the company, the newspaper said, citing Sinha.
