Brazil’s Mantega Concerned Crisis May Freeze Credit, IG Says

Brazilian Finance Minister Guido Mantega is concerned the international crisis may freeze credit as it did in 2008, Guilherme Barros, a columnist at Sao Paulo- based news website IG said, without saying how he obtained the information.

Mantega sees signs that the Chinese economy is slowing and has moved up his return to Brazil from the U.S., Barros said.
