Head of Greek Church to Travel to Germany for Medical Tests

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Hieronymos II is travelling to Germany for medical tests, the Archdiocese of Athens said in a statement on its web site.

The Archbishop has been suffering from persistent fever and an infection, the state-run Athens News Agency reported today. Hieronymos has been head of the Orthodox Church in Greece since February 2008.
