Chilean Banking Regulator Says It Has Filed Charges Against PwC

Chile’s banking regulator, Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras, or SBIF, filed charges against PricewaterhouseCoopers for deficiencies in its auditing practices of non-banking credit card issuers in the country, the regulator said in a statement posted on its website.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has 10 working days to present its defense and after that the SBIF may present a final ruling.
