HSBC’s Peter Wong Says Hong Kong Inflation Continues to Rise

Inflation is continuing to rise in Hong Kong, Peter Wong, the bank’s Asia Pacific chief executiveofficer, said in an interview broadcast on NOW TV today.

The city’s home market “won’t be too bad” in the medium to long term, Wong said. HSBC has increased mortgage rates because of rising capital costs, he said.
