Greenko Profit Almost Triples as Acquisitions Boost Energy Assets

Greenko Group Plc (GKO), a U.K. developer of clean-power projects in India, said pretax earnings rose 188 percent as new acquisitions and concessions added to its energy portfolio.

Pretax profit climbed to 14 million euros ($19.2 million) in the year ended March 31, the Douglas, Isle of Man-based company said today in a regulatory statement. Greenko is on schedule to reach a targeted 1 gigawatt of operational capacity in 2015, it said.
