Ireland Upsets Australia 15-6 in Rugby World Cup; South Afrcia Tops Fiji

Ireland beat Australia 15-6 to move atop Pool C at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Jonathan Sexton kicked nine points and Ronan O’Gara booted six for Ireland at Eden Park in Auckland. James O’Connor kicked two penalties for Australia.

Defending champion South Africa beat Fiji 49-3 and Argentina beat Romania 43-8 for its first win in today’s other games.
