Dubai’s Arabtec, Drake & Scull: Persian Gulf Equity Preview

The following stocks may rise or fall in Persian Gulf markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.

Dubai’s DFM General Index (DFMGI) gained 0.2 percent, while Abu Dhabi’s ADX General Index (ADSMI) dropped 0.2 percent. Saudi Arabia’s market is closed for the weekend.

Arabtec Holding Co. (ARTC) : The United Arab Emirates’ biggest construction company had its price estimate cut to 1.34 dirhams from 1.47 dirhams at Credit Suisse Group AG. The shares increased 0.7 percent to 1.38 dirhams.

Drake & Scull International (DSI) : The Dubai-based construction company had its price estimate cut to 1.26 dirhams from 1.3 dirhams at Credit Suisse. The shares advanced 1 percent to 87.2 fils.

Global Investment House KSCC (GLOBAL) : The Kuwait-based investment bank was cut to “underweight” from “neutral” at HSBC Holdings Plc. (HSBA) The shares rallied 4.2 percent to 37 fils.
