Greece Euro Exit Isn’t Being Mulled, Flosbach Tells Handelsblatt

Klaus-Peter Flosbach, the financial policy spokesman in parliament for Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union party, said ousting Greece from the euro area isn’t being considered, Handelsblatt reported.

Friedrich Merz, another CDU member, said that an orderly withdrawal from the currency union would make sense for Greece, the newspaper reported.
