France Lifts Wheat Crop Outlook to 33.5 Million Tons

Sept. 7 (Bloomberg) --France’s Agriculture Ministry said the country’s soft-wheat production will decline 6.1 percent this year to 33.5 million tons, up from a previous forecast of 32.5 million tons.
The 2011 corn harvest is forecast to climb 2.5 percent to 14.3 million tons, from a previous outlook for a decline of 3.3 percent, the ministry said in a report on its website today.
