Rokiskio Suris, Lithuanian Cheese Maker, Says August Sales Grew

Rokiskio Suris (RSU1L) AB, Lithuania’s biggest cheese maker, said sales jumped 30 percent from a year earlier in August, without providing a reason for the increase.

Sales rose to 69 million litai ($28 million) from 53.16 million litai in August 2010, the Rokiskis-based company said today in a statement to the stock exchange. Eight-month sales advanced 33 percent to 452.7 million litai.
