Roger Federer Reaches U.S. Open 4th Round with Four-Set Win Against Cilic

Five-time champion Roger Federer advanced to the fourth round of the U.S. Open with a four-set victory today against Marin Cilic, the 27th seed from Croatia.

Federer, 30, the third seed from Switzerland, won 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 in a match at Arthur Ashe Stadium that took 2 hours, 40 minutes. He will play either Juan Monaco of Argentina or Tommy Haas of Germany in the fourth round.
