American Donald Young Beats No. 14 Wawrinka of Switzerland at U.S. Open

American Donald Young defeated No. 14 seed Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland in five sets today at the U.S. Open.

Young, 22, who got into the tournament as a wild card, is ranked 84th on the ATP Tour. By advancing to the third round, he matched his career best at the U.S. Open.

Young won 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-1).
