Gazprom’s OGK-2 Increases First-Half Profit 58% on Power Prices

OAO Gazprom’s wholesale power generator OAO OGK-2 increased profit 58 percent to 2.84 billion rubles in the first half on higher electricity prices.

Revenue advanced 22 percent to 28 billion rubles from a year earlier, the Moscow-based generating company said today in an e-mailed statement.
