Solar Millennium AG (S2M) may change the design of its solar-thermal plants planned for the U.S., Manager Magazin reported, citing an unidentified company spokeswoman.
Erlangen, Germany-based Solar Millennium is considering switching plants in the Amargosa Valley near Las Vegas and near Ridgecrest and Palen in California to photovoltaic generation, the magazine said, citing the spokeswoman.
The three plants have a combined capacity of 1,250 megawatts, Manager Magazin said.
