Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 4:30 p.m. close in Bangkok.
The SET Index fell for a fourth day, dropping 10.56 points, or 1 percent, to 1,057.28.
Eastern Water Resources Development & Management Pcl (EASTW TB), a water supplier, dropped 2.4 percent to 6.05 baht. The company cut its interim dividend to 0.12 baht a share from a payout of 0.13 baht in the same period last year.
Electricity Generating Pcl (EGCO) , a power producer, rose 1.7 percent to 89.75 baht, the largest increase since July 19. The company will pay an interim dividend of 2.50 baht a share, it said in a regulatory filing.
Pruksa Real Estate Pcl (PS) , a Thai property developer, lost 2.9 percent to 19.90 baht, the first decline in five days. Sales from residential properties overseas will miss estimates as demand slows, Somboon Wasinchutchawal, chief financial officer, told investors in Bangkok late yesterday. Sales from projects in India, Vietnam and the Maldives will probably be at about 600 million baht ($20 million) in 2011 down from a target of 2.4 billion baht, he said.
