Thailand Stocks: Banpu, Lanna Resources, Thai-German Products

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 4:30 p.m. close in Bangkok.

The SET Index fell 1.36 points, or 0.1 percent, to 1,067.84, a third day of declines.

Coal producers: Banpu Pcl (BANPU) , the nation’s biggest coal producer, slipped 4 percent to 632 baht, the lowest close since Sept. 8. Lanna Resources Pcl (LANNA) , the No. 2 coal producer, lost 4.2 percent to 24.9 baht, the lowest since May 6.

Brent oil fell in London as investors bet that Libyan production may recover after rebels entered the capital Tripoli in a push to force out leader Muammar Qaddafi. A lower oil prices may reduce demand for alternative fuels such as coal.

Thai-German Products Pcl (TGPRO TB), a ceramic tile maker, dropped 6.1 percent to 0.46 baht, completing a three-day, 26 percent drop. The company offered 313,191 shares to its creditors at 0.20 baht each to comply with a debt restructuring agreement, it said in a regulatory filing.
