Gazprom’s OGK-2, OGK-6 Utilities Agree to Buy Out Minorities

OAO OGK-2 and OAO OGK-6, utilities controlled by OAO Gazprom, have agreed to buy out minority shareholders, according to an e-mailed statement from the companies today.

OGK-2 agreed to buy 4 billion rubles of shares of a total 20 billion rubles of shares tendered. OGK-6 agreed to buy 4.2 billion rubles of shares of 16.1 billion rubles of shares tendered.

The shares will be purchased in proportion to the amount submitted by shareholders, the statement said.
