Dan Uggla’s hitting streak ended at 33 games when he went 0-for-3 as his Atlanta Braves lost to the Chicago Cubs 6-5.
Uggla’s streak tied for 19th in Major League Baseball history, according to baseball-almanac.com. The record is 56 games by Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees in 1941.
