Germany’s Free Democratic Party, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s coalition partner, fell below 5 percent of voting intentions, Bild am Sonntag reported, citing a weekly poll.
The FDP declined to 4 percent, according to a poll conducted between Aug. 4 and Aug. 10 among 2,366 persons eligible to vote, the German newspaper said. The Social Democratic Party lost one percentage point compared to the previous week and has 27 percent of vote intentions this week while the Green Party was unchanged at 21 percent, Bild said.
