James Anderson took 4-35 to leave England needing four wickets to defeat India in their third cricket Test.
India is 116-6 at lunch on day four at Edgbaston in Birmingham to trail by 370 runs. Sachin Tendulkar scored 40 before being run out.
England yesterday delared on 710-7 after Alastair Cook scored a career-best 294. India was 224 all out in its first innings.
England leads the four-match series 2-0 and will replace India as No. 1 in the International Cricket Council’s rankings with another victory.
