Aegon, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Bekaert: Benelux Equity Preview

Aegon NV (AGN) : The Dutch owner of U.S. insurer Transamerica Corp. may report second-quarter net income of 339 million euros ($481 million), according to the average estimate of 15 analysts in a Bloomberg survey. Aegon shares slid 6.2 percent to 2.97 euros.
Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ABI) : The world’s biggest brewer may report second-quarter profit excluding some items of 98 cents a share, according to the average of 15 analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. AB InBev shares sank 4 percent to 35.15 euros.
Bekaert NV (BEKB BB): The world’s largest maker of steel cord used in tires agreed to sell its specialty-films business to a unit of Cie. de Saint-Gobain SA. Bekaert said the transaction will reduce net debt by about 80 million euros and result in a gain of about 10 million euros. Bekaert shares dropped 2.4 percent to 36.22 euros.
