Adam Scott Holds a One-Stroke Lead After Third Round of Bridgestone Golf
Adam Scott leads fellow Australian Jason Day and Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa by one stroke after three rounds of the Bridgestone Invitational.
Scott is 12-under par after shooting 4-under 66 today at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. Ishikawa shot 64 and Day had 66 to leave each at 11-under.
Tiger Woods, making his return to the golf tour after an almost four-month layoff caused by knee and Achilles tendon injuries, trails by 13 strokes after shooting 2-over 72. His last competitive round was May 12 when he pulled out of the Players Championship after nine holes.
American Keegan Bradley and Scotland’s Martin Laird are tied for fourth place at 10-under, one shot ahead of England’s Luke Donald, No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Sweden’s Fredrik Jacobsen and Rickie Fowler of the U.S.
