Eramet’s Gabon Unit Says First-Half Manganese Alloy Production Rises 2.7%

Comilog Gabon, a mining venture controlled by Eramet (ERA) SA and the Gabonese government, increased first-half manganese alloy production 2.7 percent to 415,000 metric tons from a year earlier, the company said in a statement.

Manganese sales rose 5.4 percent to 411,000 tons, it said in a statement broadcast on Radio Television Gabonaise yesterday. Manganese ore and sinter production climbed 7 percent to 1.68 million tons, the company said.
