Zimbabwe’s Draft Constitution Set to be Submitted to Parliament in October

Zimbabwe’s draft Constitition is scheduled to be submitted to parliament by Oct. 15, said Paul Mangwana, co-chairman of the constitutional outreach program, which is writing up the document.

A referendum on the new Constitution should then be held three months after it’s approved by lawmakers, Mangwana said at a conference in Victoria Falls, in northwestern Zimbabwe, today.
