Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) rose 0.6 percent to 61,388.64.
Aksigorta AS (AKGRT) : Brussels-based Ageas (AGS) and Turkish partner Haci Omer Sabanci Holding AS (SAHOL) will present their plans for the Turkish non-life insurer after Ageas bought a 31 percent stake from Sabanci in February. Aksigorta jumped 6 kurus, or 4 percent, to 1.56 liras yesterday.
Ford Otomotiv Sanayi AS (FROTO) : The maker of Ford vehicles in Turkey was raised to “neutral” from “sell” at UBS AG. The shares fell 5 kurus, or 0.4 percent, to 12.45 liras.
Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS (TCELL TI): Turkey’s biggest mobile phone company may report net profit of 19.9 million liras, down from a profit of 425 million liras in the second quarter last year, according to the mean estimate of 11 analysts in a Bloomberg survey, five of whom forecasted a loss. The shares rose 6 kurus, or 0.7 percent, to 8.66 liras.
