Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.
The Jakarta Composite index (JCI) fell 0.5 percent to 4,087.09.
PT HD Finance (HDFA IJ): The motorcycle and car financing company will seek an additional 500 billion rupiah ($59 million) of bank loans this year to help fund its business, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing President Director Hariono. HD Finance was unchanged at 225 rupiah.
PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA IJ): The company’s first-half net income rose to 1.61 trillion rupiah from 908.1 billion rupiah a year earlier, the Indonesian state-owned coal producer said in a statement published in Bisnis Indonesia. Bukit Asam fell 1.4 percent to 20,900 rupiah.
PT United Tractors (UNTR IJ): The company’s heavy equipment sales in June rose to 742 units from 617 units in May and 507 units a year earlier, it said in an e-mailed statement. United Tractors, Indonesia’s largest heavy equipment seller, declined 1.8 percent to 25,250 rupiah.
