PKK Kills 3 Turkish Troops in Southeast Province, Anatolia Says

Three Turkish soldiers were killed in an ambush by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, Anatolia news agency reported.
The clash took place in the southeastern province of Mardin, the state-run news service said. The Turkish army started operations in the region following the attack, Anatolia reported.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union.
