West Ham Signs Bolton Midfielder Matt Taylor for Undisclosed Fee

West Ham signed Bolton midfielder Matt Taylor for an undisclosed fee, the two clubs said on their websites.

Taylor, 29, is the third signing of the summer for the Hammers, who were relegated to the second-division Championship last season. The east London club also added Kevin Nolan from Newcastle and Stoke’s Abdoulaye Faye.

Taylor scored 23 goals in 139 appearance for Bolton after joining the club from Portsmouth in January of 2008.
