The Tadawul All Share Index (SASEIDX) rose 0.5 percent to 6,522.52 at the 3:30 p.m. close in Riyadh.
The following stocks rose or fell in Saudi Arabia’s market.
Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co. (ALARKAN) dropped the most since July 19, losing 0.7 percent to 7.45 riyals. Saudi Arabia’s biggest property company by assets said second-quarter profit dropped 32 percent to 297.8 million riyals ($79 million) on lower sales.
Mohammad Al-Mojil Group (MMG) rose for a second day, adding 0.5 percent to 21.70 riyals. The provider of services to the construction industry said second-quarter profit almost tripled to 31.7 million riyals from 11.8 million riyals.
Saudi Fisheries (SFICO) Co surged the most in two months, climbing 4.3 percent to 46.60 riyals. The fish- processing company narrowed its second-quarter loss to 4.95 million riyals from 6.5 million riyals a year earlier.
Tihama (TAPRCO) Advertising & Public Relations Co. (TAPRCO AB) declined to the lowest in a week, slipping 1.3 percent to 39.20 riyals. The publisher of the pan-Arab al-Hayat newspaper posted a loss of 2.6 million riyals in the three months ended June 30, compared with a profit of 6.8 million riyals a year earlier.
