ALL America Latina Logistica SA (ALLL3) (ALLL3 BS) rose 1.2 percent to 12.23 reais. Latin America’s largest railroad company said total volume transported rose 8.9 percent in the second quarter from a year earlier. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose 12.2 percent, ALL said in a regulatory filing. The results are preliminary.
Kroton Educacional SA (KROT11 BS), an administrator of private schools and colleges, slipped 0.9 percent to 19.05 reais. Kroton peer Abril Educacao SA, an education and publishing group, sold shares below the projected range in an initial public offering.
Mundial SA Produtos de Consumo (MNDL4 BS) plunged 64 percent to 69 centavos. The Brazilian consumer-goods maker fell for a third day, for a combined loss of 86 percent, amid speculation that recent gains had been excessive given the company’s growth outlook.
