Bharti Airtel Ltd. (BHARTI)’s Zambian unit, the southern African country’s biggest mobile-phone operator, will build 200 more transmission towers by the end of the year to help boost market share, Managing Director Fayaz King said.
The increase will raise the number of towers to 1,000, King told reporters today in Lusaka, the capital. The company aims to increase its market share to 80 percent from about 70 percent, he said.
