Fenerbahce Chairman Appeals Arrest in Turkish Soccer Probe, Sabah Reports

Fenerbahce SK Chairman Aziz Yildirim is appealing his arrest in an investigation of an alleged match- fixing scheme, Sabah reported.

Attorneys for the imprisoned chairman of Turkey’s soccer champions pointed to Yildirim’s health problems, asking an Istanbul court to release him on bail, Sabah said, without saying where it got the information.
