Google Lost China Market Share in Second Quarter, Researcher Say

Google Inc. (GOOG) accounted for 18.9 percent of China’s search-engine market by revenue in the second quarter, declining from 19.2 percent three months earlier, research company Analysys International said in an e-mailed statement today. Baidu Inc.’s market share increased to 75.9 percent from 75.8 percent, according to the Beijing-based researcher.
