Coca-Cola Not in Talks to Enter North Korea, Spokeswoman Says

Coca-Cola Co. (KO) denied a report by South Korean cable television network YTN that company officials visited North Korea July 5 to July 9 to discuss opening branches in Pyongyang.

No Coca-Cola “representative has been in discussions or explored opening up business in Pyongyang, North Korea,” Joanna Price, a company spokeswoman, said in an e-mailed response to queries.
