Sunday Times Says No Law Broken in Brown Flat Purchase Story

News International’s Sunday Times newspaper said its story about former Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s purchase of an apartment was “pursued in the public interest,” and “no law was broken in the process of this investigation” and “no criminal was used.” A spokesperson for the newspaper made the comments in an e-mailed statement today.
