Linedata, Prodware, Publicis, Total: French Equity Preview

The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in Paris. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.

France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index (CAC) fell 2.7 percent to 3,807.51, while the broader SBF 120 Index (SBF120) fell 2.7 percent to 2,878.92.

Icade (ICAD) : The property developer controlled indirectly by the French state said it bought seven clinics buildings. The shares declined 2.3 percent to 82.61 euros.

Linedata Services (LIN) : France’s largest maker of financial software for leasing and credit companies said it plans to buy Fimasys, a financial technology provider. The shares were unchanged at 12.06 euros.

Prodware (ALPRO) : The computer-services company said it established a strategic alliance with the Dutch computer- services company Qurius NV. The shares fell 0.1 percent to 9.75.

Publicis Groupe SA (PUB) : The advertising company bought 70 percent of Brazilian agency DPZ, with an option to acquire all of it. The shares declined 1.9 percent to 37.85 euros.

Tonnellerie Francois Freres (TFF) : The maker of wine barrels said fiscal year 2011 profit fell to 14.4 million euros from 15.3 million the previous year. The shares fell 0.8 percent to 29.75 euros.

Total SA (FP) : Chief Executive Officer Christophe de Margerie will meet with Energy Minister Francois Baroin to discuss the company’s plan to raise gas prices. The shares dropped 1.6 percent to 39.33 euros.
