Britain’s Mark Cavendish Wins Tour de France Seventh Stage; Wiggins Out

Britain’s Mark Cavendish won stage seven of the Tour de France as Norway’s Thor Hushovd maintained the race-leading yellow jersey.

Britain’s Bradley Wiggins withdrew from the race after crashing about 40 kilometers from the finish. The Team Sky rider was in sixth place entering today’s stage.
