Air Canada, Cogeco Cable, DragonWave: Canadian Equity Preview

Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Canadian trading.

Air Canada (AC/A) (AC/B CN): The country’s largest airline said traffic climbed 2.5 percent last month from June 2010, while capacity increased 3 percent.

Cogeco Cable Inc. (CCA) : The cable television provider with operations in Canada and Portugal is scheduled to release third-quarter financial results at 7:30 a.m. in Montreal. The company will report profit of 72 Canadian cents a share, excluding certain items, according to the average of 12 analyst estimates in a Bloomberg survey.

DragonWave Inc. (DWI) : The maker of wireless data communications products said it lost 28 cents a share in the first quarter. Analysts on average were expecting a loss of 20 cents a share, excluding certain items, according to a Bloomberg survey.
