Israeli Stocks: Ampal-American, Space Communication, Queenco

Israel’s TA-25 Index slipped 0.1 percent to 1,251.39 at 1:28 p.m. in Tel Aviv.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Ampal-American Israel (AMPL) Corp slumped to the lowest level since January 2009, dropping 6.3 percent to 3 shekels. The owner of a 12.5 percent stake in East Mediterranean Gas Co. confirmed that gas supply was interrupted after an explosion overnight at a pipeline in Sinai.

Queenco Ltd. (QNCO) plunged 7.1 percent to 3.01 shekels, the biggest decline since June 5. Queenco Leisure International Ltd., a unit of the investor in real estate and tourism, said a subsidiary was renotified by Casino Austria International Holding GmbH that a put option isn’t legally binding on Casino Austria.

Space Communication Ltd. (SCC) fell for the second time in three days, retreating 2 percent to 61.50 shekels. The marketer of satellite communication services said the launch of the Amos 5 satellite may be delayed due to a defect in one of its parts.
